Reiki Certifications
Attune to Reiki
Follow a path through Reiki Levels I, II, III; Crystal Reiki; and Animal Reiki.
Become a Reiki Master Teacher.
You will learn: the history of Reiki; receive attunements at the various levels; receive symbols at the various levels; scan energy fields; clear stagnant energy; channel Reiki; learn hand placements; channel Reiki remotely; give sessions for others, for yourself and group sessions; use crystals with Reiki; and learn Reiki for animals.
Reiki Master Teacher has been added if you are called to put in the time and effort to meet the requirements to teach. You must be regularly offering professional Reiki sessions. (Usui Sensei hand-picked 16 students that he attuned to Shihan and Takata Sensei, who taught Reiki for 42 years, attuned 22 students to Shihan.) It is a deep commitment that will take you a couple years to achieve. Not everyone is meant to teach. Read the requirements below to see if it is right for your journey.
Why train with me?
My journey to becoming a Reiki Master Teacher began with my first attunements to reiki energy in the mid-1990s, when very few people had ever heard of it. In the late 2000s, as it was becoming more mainstream, I attuned to another form of Reiki. My reiki background gives me a unique perspective in how I teach Reiki as I have both eastern and western Reiki lineages. The areas that Usui Sensei thought were important during a reiki session, I emphasize and teach. I hope you will join me in developing your relationship to channel Reiki.

Reiki I Certification
No prerequisites to attend. You will receive a Reiki Level I attunement.
SHODEN: Learn Usui Reiki energy as taught in the tradition and lineage of Mikao Usui Sensei. Reiki is a technique that uses the universal life force energy channeled by the Reiki practitioner to activate the natural processes of the client's body, mind, and spirit to restore physical and emotional well-being. After this introductory course you will be able to give Reiki to yourself, family and friends.
Learn Reiki history, how it is integrated with your energetic field, and begin practicing on others as you prepare for Reiki Level II if you choose to continue a path to become a Reiki practitioner.
Animal Reiki
Deepen your practice and understanding as a Reiki practitioner. This class is designed for Reiki II practitioners who have learned symbols and distance Reiki.
Grow your Reiki practice by integrating animal Reiki into your energy work. This non-invasive therapy makes it ideal for working with all kinds of animals, from domestic pets to wildlife.
You will learn Reiki techniques for working with animals in person and from a distance. You will be guided to create a healing space where you can channel Reiki on animals as well as communicate with them, thereby creating a stronger connection with your intuition that can assist you when communicating with animals.
Join me for a unique experience how animals can be your teachers and guides.
Shihan
Mentor to become a Reiki Master Teacher and be able to teach and attune all levels.
Requirements:
Completed Shihan Kaku with me at least 6 months prior.
Taught at least 5 Shoden classes.
Taught at least 10 students.
Provide written feedback from 5 students from Shoden classes.
Submit an essay about why you want to complete your path as a teacher and how you will use your training in the future.
You will need several hours with me over the course of training to learn how to give attunements.
You will need to write all your own original course materials.
You will need to professionally attune and teach students (not volunteers) in Okuden and Shinpiden 3 different times each, before you will receive your certificate.
There will be other assignments to turn in to support you in your teaching journey.

Reiki II Certification
OKUDEN: Reiki Level II training will enhance your Reiki Level I training and include symbols and techniques to expand channeled Reiki energy to become a Reiki practitioner. You will receive a Reiki Level II attunement.
Reiki Level II will focus on an extensive opening of the energy channels while practicing Reiki on others. Reiki symbols allow the practitioner to connect more deeply to draw on the benefits that the symbols represent. This includes the ability to send distance Reiki to clear energy across time, and to physical objects and locations.
Prerequisites: You have successfully completed a validate Reiki Level I Certification regardless of the Reiki lineage. Due to the intensity of the attunement process, Usui Sensei recommended 21 days to pass between receiving the Level I and Level II attunements, but trust your intuition if you plan to continue on sooner.
Crystal Reiki
Deepen your practice and understanding as a Reiki practitioner. This class is designed for Reiki II practitioners who have learned symbols and distance Reiki.
Grow your Reiki practice by integrating crystals into your energy work.
You will learn techniques for working with crystals in person and from a distance, choosing appropriate crystals, preparing crystals for use, and arranging crystals to enhance your Reiki sessions.
Join me for a unique experience how crystals can aid you in your healing practice.
Reiki III Certification
SHINPIDEN: Learn the master symbol that will open all energy centers, raise your vibration and access the highest levels of Reiki energy. You will receive a Reiki Level III attunement.
This journey may address issues as an opportunity to advance your soul’s journey. This shift of consciousness may be a challenge, yet presents the Reiki Master with unlimited opportunity as you transcend to a higher level of awareness.
Certificate as a Reiki Master Practitioner will be awarded upon satisfactory completion of all requirements and demonstration of competency in all aspects of the practice. The student must have received a minimum of Reiki Level II certification in Reiki (any lineage).
In keeping with Usui Sensei, 21 days of practice should pass between Reiki Level II and III/Master, but trust your intuition if you plan to continue on sooner. Most students take this class 8 months to a year (or more) after Reiki II.
Shihan Kaku
Mentor to become an Assistant Reiki Master Teacher to be able to teach and attune the First Degree (Shoden).
Requirements:
Trained in Reiki Level II and III with me.
Trained in Animal Reiki and Crystal Reiki.
Practiced professionally a minimum of 6 months after Reiki Level III certification.
Given Reiki chiryo to at least 40 clients (not volunteers) with names, dates, and length of sessions.
Practiced chiryo for at least 80 hours (distance is not included in the total).
Produce at least 5 written case studies of your clients issues, treatments, and observed outcomes.
Submit an essay about why you want to begin your path as a teacher and how you will use your training in the future.
You will need several hours with me over the course of training to learn how to give attunements.
You will need to write all your own original course materials.
You will need to professionally attune and teach at least 3 times your own students (not volunteers) before you will receive your certificate.
There will be other assignments to turn in to support you in your teaching journey.
